Australia's Centenary of Flight Celebrations
On the 18th March 1910, the
famous escapologist, Harry Houdini flew into Australia's
history by flying the first controlled powered airplane
at Diggers Rest, located north-west of Melbourne.
Now, exactly 100 years to the day, and over the
subsequent weekend, Diggers Rest will commemorate this
special occasion in our history with activities and
displays.
The club will be organizing
a display. Members wishing to display there CBX
1000 please contact the Vic rep.
